This year I’ve resumed the reading habit.
Actually, I felt the need to read. I was spending too much time on work related reads (taxation stuff – boring, I know) and I was missing out on so many good books and authors.
I started shy with a coloring book, a book of maps and a visit to an anti-cafe where in fact I caught-up with reading and managed to finish the book of Karaoke Capitalism → the blockage has been over-passed. Other books followed and were very inspiring for me.
So, I’ve thought why not sharing the main ideas? But as I am not such a good book reviewer, maybe, for now, it would be better just to shares some quotes that I found useful, and, to a certain extent, life changing. Some quotes would be in Romanian language, but I hope that this would not stop you looking for the book and give it a chance.
Today’s thought is from A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose by Eckhart Tolle. I received this book as a birthday present from some dear friends and I was absorbed by its topics and how the author managed to explain in simple words that your ego is not what that matters in the end.
I leave you here a passage I’ve read today:
